You already know how much I love this fic but I thought I'd reiterate by hugging and squeezing your ficcy until it gasps and wriggles. Yet another fab chapter. I can honestly say I didn't expect half the directions this chapter took and I am desperate (Yes, desperate. I have chocolate bribes all lined up.) to see what happens next. Update soon. Please? In the name of God, please update! This is one of the best Spillow stories around and the thought that it might never be finished... Well, it's painful. And dammit, you stopped before all the good, clean, smutty fun. You fic tease. More please?

Wheeeee! I am loving this so far. I've always had a yen to know what would have happened if Dark Willow and Evil Spike had met. However I still feel that Willow could conceivably kick Spike's ass. Obviously, she'd have to kiss it better afterwards. Really looking forward to seeing where you take this. Thessaly

Author's Response: Hi Thessaly, and thanks for the feedback. I have to warn you that Willow isn't quite as dark as she was at the end of S6, but I hope you give the story a try anyway. You'll get a better idea of where I'm going when I post the next story in the series, which will probably be towards the end of the week. Hope you like it!

Yet another quality chapter. And despite my yearning for Evil Spillow, the idea of Spike as Willow's Messiah is really intriguing, especially when you balance it against his restored nature as the Big (Unchipped) Bad. Absolutely loving it. Is Sad Cypress a reference to Twelfth Night, by any chance? Thessaly

Author's Response: I have to admit, I'm not terribly good at writing evil Willow, so yeah, Spike will definitely be her savior. Although not a conventional one, by any means. And no, the title's not a reference to Twelfth Night, although there is a pattern with all the titles in the series. More on that later...

"History had shown that she was a pretty decent kidnapee" Oh joy! Oh happiness! Yet another well-plotted chapter of character-driven fic. I am beyond happy that you've updated this so soon and I love the lines (like the one above) that reference Spike and Willow's previous relationship but in a new and fresh way. More please?

Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you're enjoying this so much. I hope to make a lot of progress on this story over the long weekend, so hopefully you'll see more by Christmas. And yes, they have such an interesting history together, and it's awfully fun to play with.

Dammit, all my previous reviews went missing. I'll have to summarise: Wheeeeee! Fabulous! I love the historical relationship you're laying out for Willow and Spike; how they know each other to a certain point but can still affect each other unexpectedly; the sense of dependence on each other, even if neither of them would admit it. I love your crafty sense of metaphor, I love the pacing and I love, love, love the rising tension between unchippy Spike and the resolutely good Willow. At this point, "He was going to eat the witch" and "He savored that perfect moment, when the pressure of his fangs against her neck was just enough to convince her skin to part and let him slide inside. His reward, a mouthful of pure, delicious blood, was enough to make him groan with satisfaction", I had bad thoughts and giggled to myself. Subtext, anyone? Or maybe I've just got a mind like a cesspit. Love it, More please? Thessaly

Author's Response: Thanks! And I'm sorry about the reviews--when I was updating each story in the series, the summary was saying that it was the first story in the series, even when it was the third or fourth. So I had to delete all the stories and enter them all separately. I'm so glad you're enjoying the relationship I'm trying to build between them. Neither of them are perfect, but they just seem to fit together somehow. Especially right now. As for where your mind went, um, well, mine was right there along with ya. *grin* Thanks for the wonderful feedback, you aways make my day with it!

Ooh, ooh, I'm fascinated as well! And slightly disturbed. What the hell is going on? Why are there two of them? How is Xander going to react when he realises Willow was pretty much willing (if seduced by a master)? How is Buffy going to react to Angelus and the fact that Willow had sex with him thinking he was Angel? And does Angelus have to use talc to get leather pants on like normal people or does the lack of sweat make that redundant? Huh, bit of a tangent there. But more please. It's very exciting.

Author's Response: LOL...all good questions! I'm guessing that the lack of sweat and a warm body makes the use of talc unnecessary, but I have no way to test that theory other than going to the morgue, and I'm not quite that curious! I'm so glad you're enjoying this so much! And the next chapter will shed some light on why there's both an Angelus and an Angel. And Xander...well, he's got bigger problems than Willow having sex...he just doesn't know it yet! Thanks for the feedback, and the talc-related giggle you gave me!

"It must've had something to do with his idiot childe Xander." Wheeee! Fabulous. I did not see that coming. But if Angelus turned Xander (and if that isn't proof that they're from Bizarro World...), where's Willow from that dimension? Why didn't he turn her as well? Did she even know Xander? I can't imagine a Xander without a Willow. They go together like coffee and doughnuts, fish and chips, the Royal Family and humilating scandal... "Angelus had eaten enough science fiction writers to know about alternate universes." Ha! Loved it. The Angelus Library system. How to gain the wisdom of the universe in three easy gulps. "That sweet little girl—he wished he had a name to go with that pixie face—must have known his double." Which brings me back to my previous query. Why isn't there are a Bizarro Willow and depending upon the answer, how will Xander react to her? How will Xander react to himself (vampirically speaking)? Ooh, it's all very exciting. More please?

Author's Response: Thanks, Thessaly. Many people have been asking that same question (about the Willow in their world) and I've come up with the answer, but it's not going to be revealed for a bit. As for Xander's reaction to himself, I figure it'll be pretty hilarious. Neither of them is all that smart, IMO, so I imagine there'll be a lot of staring and gibbering. And thank you for mentioning my favorite line (about Angelus eating sci-fi writers). I loved your 'Angelus Library system.'

Ha! It's about time someone called Angelus on ruining Sunnydale's grading curve. I snorted tea out of my nose at the point where Willow called him stupid. It's true; eavesdroppers never hear any good of themselves.

Fabulous as always. Thank you.

Thessaly

Author's Response: LOL! Yeah, Angelus needs to be a little more considerate about who he and his minions) sink their fangs into. Sorry about the tea snort-age, but I\'m glad I made you laugh,
