Well, I just read your story from start to finish, and I don't know what to say. I am emotionally spent. I have just cried my way through half a box of tissues and am really glad to be alone tonight so I don't have to explain the swollen eyes. I always liked Willow's relationships with Oz and Tara. Xander and Anya and Xander and Cordelia were always a humerous combination and strangely enjoyable as couples. However, in my heart I always saw Xander and Willow together in the end. It is one of the things I always regretted about the show, that they didn't honor that connection and even let their friendship suffer. That is what is great about fanfiction. You can revisit your favorites and have things as you wished they had been. Not that I wish Willow had ended the world, just that I am glad someone else appreciated the connection that Willow and Xander shared. Your story was very well written and as you can tell, packed an emotional whallop. I love the way you kept much of the story the same as the episode, with the changes being few but having a large impact. You wrote Willow's pain so realistically, as well as everyone's reactions . At first, when Tara showed up on the bluff, I was thinking "oh, no. she is going to play Xander's part and stop Willow with her love" which I thought would have weakened the whole point of the story. I was pleasently suprised when even though that is what Tara tried to do it didn't work. It was a suprise ending, sad , but after reading the whole story it's hard to see it ending any other way. Wonderful job. I will quit rambling now. I look forward to reading more of your writing.

I really liked this, very emotional. Are you going to continue? I would like to see how Tara will deal with a rampaging Willow. That would be interesting, I hope you do continue. This is very well written too, great job.
